Capital Bank of Jordan signs agreement with Dubai Construction Company

Capital Bank announced earlier this month, the signing of an agreement with Dubai Construction Company (DCC), one of the region's leading international construction companies headquartered in Dubai.

DCC is leading a team of professionals that will bring two new landmarks, VERTEX Tower and Residences and COMMERCE ONE to the Al Abdali urban regeneration project. Under the agreement, Capital bank will finance the purchase of units in the developments by future owners. The agreement was signed by Mr. Haytham Kamhiyah, General Manger of Capital Bank, and Mr. Wissam Otaky, DCC's Jordan Area Manager.

VERTEX Tower and Residences a ninety million JOD residential tower is designed by world famous Caludio Nardi, an Italian architect who boasts an array of modern, world standard designs. The project will cover a 66 thousand meter square built up area in Al Abdali, in the heart of the Jordanian Capital. COMMERCE ONE, the office and retail building is a 14,500 thousand square meter project with a 14 million JOD price tag.

This agreement comes inline with the bank's strategies in finding alternative financing opportunities for future home, and office owners. Capital Bank has similar agreements with The Land and DAMAC among others.

On this occasion, Mr. Kamhiyah reiterated the Bank's commitment in supporting the emerging financing needs for individual ownership in different real estate projects, he added, "we look forward to supporting projects of this magnitude by providing easy and innovative alternatives to future investors and owners. We believe that these projects play a pivotal role in the development of urban societies."

Commenting on behalf of DCC, Mr. Otaky said, "We are extremely glad of this partnership with Capital Bank, this agreement will help us enable our clients fulfill their dream of acquiring the unit of their choice in our different projects."
