Al Sulaiman Group is a leading business group in Qatar, established in 1980. It has since diversified into several business activities including trading, construction, engineering, travel, shipping and logistics and many more.
The agreement was signed by Mr.Ali Z.A. Abu Monassar, Vice Chairman, Net Group and Mr. Nasser Sulaiman Haider, Chairman of Al Sulaiman Group on February 6th 2007 at Net Group' Head Office in Dubai. It has been described as a mutually beneficial arrangement to expand the scope of business for both groups.
"This is a significant move towards strengthening our tourism business in the GCC market," said Mr. Hossam Mohammed, Manager of Net Group's dedicated GCC business division. Small and medium travel agents in Qatar can organize outbound tourism to the UAE, Oman and other destinations with Net Group through Al Sulaiman Travels, he said.
Net Group already has business tie-ups with the GCC tourism market in Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, and is expected to extend to Saudi Arabia as well.
Net Group has branch offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Qatar and Oman, and overseas offices across UK, Europe, Japan, Australia & New Zealand.
