Sri Lanka, Iran LNG project

Iran's state-owned MAPNA Company has agreed to undertake a feasibility study concerning a possible LNG-fired power plant to be constructed in Mirissa, Sri Lanka, reported the Iran Daily. The study is expected to take around three months, after which construction may commence by the end of the year. The two countries would then have to agree a price for the LNG which would be supplied for a 20 year period.
