Tethys to tap Oman's Block 15

Sweden's Tethys Oil, an oil exploration and production company which holds a 40% stake in Block 15 located in northern central Oman, is to commence drilling operations in Q2, according to the Oman Daily Observer. The onshore block has estimated reserves of more than 50m barrels and has significant exploration potential. Tethys expects a recovery ratio of between 5 and 20%.
