Emirates Driving Institute appoints General Manager - Technical and Operations

Mr. Richardson has had a distinguished career with 35 years in the Road Safety Industry. He joins EDI after having served as former Head of Training for the Institute of Advanced Motorists in the United Kingdom.

Whilst Mr. Richardson's responsibilities at EDI include overseeing all EDI's Operations & Technical activities, because of his years in the IAM he has specialist knowledge in the training of fleet drivers: contracting companies, distribution companies, academic institutes, oil & gas companies etc.

The emphasis of Mr. Richardson's specialty has been, and remains, the teaching of safe driving techniques and accident avoidance / prevention, particularly in drivers who are engaged in driving for long elapsed periods of time and / or whose cargoes are precious and of high value.
