RTA and Um Al Quwain Police discuss cooperation methods

The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) have joined forces with Umm al-Qaiwain Police Headquarters to set cooperation programs in the field of traffic awareness for all road users.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation between the two parties and the prospects of launching joint programs and exchanged the views on their experiments in the areas of safety and traffic awareness, with regard to awareness programs directed to students and youth.
Eng Bader said that this meeting comes within the RTA efforts to extend support and cooperation with all concerned parties in the field of traffic awareness and road users' safety.
He said that comprehensive awareness programs are being organized by the RTA with cooperation of other organizations including the recent campaign which was organized in cooperation with Dubai educational zone .The delegation also briefed on the program of bus safety traffic which was provided by the Emirates Transport Cooperation and prepared by the Johnson & Jones company to be a model for traffic safety standards which visiting the Dubai educational schools to present awareness programs in a pleasant scientific methods for children. It was agreed to arrange monthly visits for the safety bus to one of Um Al Quwain schools.
The meeting has reviewed also the permanent traffic exhibition which is scheduled to be launched during the 23rd Gulf Unified Traffic Week. It was also decided that Umm Al Quwain Police to nominate a number of locations to be part of permanent Traffic exhibition in Dubai.
It was also agreed to cooperate in promoting the "We are here to consol you" which is sponsored by Fawallah company which includes visits to accidents victims by the traffic awareness team at RTA.
The meeting was attended by the first Warrant Officer Iman Abdullah Rashid, the first Warrant Officer Salem Abdullah Mohammed, Sergeant Buthaina Ibrahim Mankos, Sergeant Maryam Jasim Obaid, and Sergeant Hasan Abdullah Issa from Um Al Qaiwain police with Khawlah Ahmed Al Kaitoob, Mohammad Hassan Al Hafidh and Mosa Hussain Ali from RTA.
