'Through this award, Data Link Solutions extends its commitment to providing U.S. and coalition forces with interoperable Link 16 capability,'
said David Erusha, Data Link Solutions director. Data Link Solutions provides the majority of Link 16 terminals for command and control aircraft, ships, and fixed and mobile ground sites for armed forces worldwide.
With Link 16, participants gain situational awareness by exchanging voice and digital data over a common communications link that is continuously and automatically updated in real time. Today, various types of Link 16 terminals provide interoperable communications aboard tactical fighter aircraft, command and control aircraft, ships, and fixed and mobile ground sites.
Work will be performed in Wayne, New Jersey, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
