The conference included a day of keynote presentations by TippingPoint's executives and industry experts, product and service-specific sessions. The event was kicked off by KS Parag, Managing Director of FVC, who introduced Paul Couturier, Vice President International Operations, for TippingPoint.

"We owe it to our partners and their customers alike to ensure that TippingPoint's strategies moving forward are clearly understood and rolled out." said Parag. "Through innovation and award winning solutions, TippingPoint continue to add substantial value to our end users and we are committed to empowering all our partners to delivering these solutions to their customers."
TippingPoint's Bi-planar strategy and Network Access Control (NAC) was hot on the list of topics discussed during this year's conference. "The Bi-planar strategy is 3com's new revolutionary approach to networking,'' said Couturier of TippingPoint. "What this does is enable today's network of switches and routers to achieve what they could not in the past: being complete access control, attack control and application control."

TippingPoint's Network Access Control (NAC) enables enterprises to enforce device and user policies to ensure both endpoint compliance and granular post-access compliance. "This solution goes beyond traditional pre-check and post-check NAC solutions by linking device and user policies to fine-grained, continuous traffic control made possible only by an intrusion prevention system (IPS) ", said Arun George, Technical Sales Manager, TippingPoint Dubai.

"By integrating device, user and IPS-based traffic classification and enforcement, enterprises have much greater control over network access and usage, while reducing network security cost and complexity."

The event was attended by key TippingPoint partners such as ICT Qatar, Paramount Dubai, Bahwan IT Oman, Almoayed Data Group Bahrain, Hasibat Kuwait.
