E-Vision launches two additional free movie nights

E-Vision, the leading cable TV provider in the UAE, announced today the launch of two additional movie nights for its customers. The launch will be effective March 6, 2007 on e-Masala, Channel 200.

The movie nights will be telecast in Hindi and Tamil and will be in addition to the existing offering in Malayalam and Hindi on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. With the additional service, free movie nights from E-Vision will be provided to customers on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Commenting on the free movie nights, Humaid Rashid Sahoo, Chief Executive Officer, E-Vision, said:

'This initiative is merely the result of the successful e-Masala service provided through E-Vision. The free movie night service has witnessed huge interest among our subscribers since its launch in 2004.'

e-Masala provides movie lovers with the opportunity to catch up with their favourite entertainment from Bollywood from the comfort of their homes.

Humaid Sahoo added: 'E-Vision has increased the variety of its free movie night content thus reflecting the company's objective in providing more convenience and choice to its customers. This will definitely enhance our peaking customer satisfaction levels.'

E-Vision is the first local broadcaster in the country to air Tamil movies and to provide a variety of entertainment content free of charge to its customers. The company, which leads the cable TV industry in the UAE, currently offers the best in TV entertainment through more than 200 selected channels, and featuring content in more than 17 languages.
