Kuwait reopens refinery bidding

Kuwait National Petroleum Company will reopen the bidding for a 615,000 bpd refinery project, after initial bids came in at $15bn - more than two-and-half times the original budget. South Korean firms dominated the original bidding for the Al-Zour project. The new tender will be based on a cost plus profit margin, KNPC chairman Sami al-Rasheed told AFP.
