The annual event attracted the world's leading travel suppliers from major hotel groups to international airlines and is a key event in the calendar for anyone who buys or manages company travel, books business trips or sources meeting venues.

For the second time the exhibition provided Qatar Airways with the opportunity to showcase its award-winning premium product and hospitality to key international industry figures. On display was the airline's First-Class 180 degree flat-bed seat from its new Airbus A340-600 aircraft, together with Qatar Airways' award-winning on-board catering for visitors to sample.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said: "London is a major market for Qatar Airways and we are delighted to once again have had such a major presence at the Business Travel Show, particularly as a multiple award-winner!

"As a Five Star airline, we are constantly striving to provide our business passengers with the best in comfort and hospitality, throughout the entire flight experience and this exhibition is the perfect platform to showcase our enhanced quality and innovation."

With 35 flights a week from the UK to its operational hub of Doha, Qatar Airways offers convenient connections to many of the airline's 70 exciting destinations around the world.

Now, in its 10th anniversary year since relaunching, Qatar Airways will add a number of new destinations to its growing network, including New York, Bali, Ho Chi Minh City, Lagos and Chennai, together with more flights on existing routes to give passengers greater choice. Brand new Airbus continue to join the fleet and the first of Qatar Airways' 22 Boeing 777s will be delivered from November 2007.

With a growing international network, more travellers will have an opportunity to use Qatar Airways' brand new Premium Terminal at Doha International Airport, a world first for the airline. Features such as a spa, jacuzzi, duty free, business centre and fine-dining restaurants are exclusively available for departing and transiting First and Business Class passengers flying Qatar Airways.
