Tennis legend Boris Becker in Bahrain to kick off Riffa Views partnership

He is partnering with the project to place the residential and lifestyle community in the global spotlight by working with Riffa Views to support the development of Bahrain's sporting talent and drive the Kingdom's presence in international tennis.

Riffa Views' action-packed schedule for Becker's three-day visit is the first step in the joint promotional programme, and will bring him in contact with members of Bahrain's tennis and golfing community as well as give him the opportunity to visit the Bahrain International Circuit, where he will meet the teams here for Formula One testing.

A highlight of Becker's visit will be his attendance at an official meeting between the Bahrain Tennis Club and the Asian Tennis Federation when the two parties will sign contracts for the Under-14-Championships on Friday 23rd February.

The event will also provide a golden opportunity for thirty 7-to-12-year-olds to gain a valuable insight into the makings of a Grand Slam tennis champion when Becker holds a tennis clinic for them at the Bahrain Tennis Club. The clinic will include eight Bahraini children sponsored by Riffa Views.

Becker's visit will provide the opportunity to visit the Riffa Views project site, meet the Riffa Views team, and get to know Bahrain. He will be Guest of Honour in a gala dinner during which Radio Bahrain broadcaster, Nadia Swan will host "An Interview With Boris Becker."

As an all-round sportsman, Becker also has a love for golf, and will informally challenge 20 of Riffa Views' invited guests to a round of golf.

Becker became captivated by the landscape and unique light and colour tones of Bahrain when first visiting the Kingdom in 2006, and has chosen Bahrain as the location for a photo shoot of his new sports fashion line that he is currently developing.
