The awards were presented by the UAE Armed Forces GHQ and ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company).
IDEX 2007 concludes today after a record breaking run which saw the exhibition attract 862 exhibitors, occupying a record total of more than 32,000 square metres of both indoor and outdoor space. 50 countries are officially represented and there are 33 national pavilions.
Turkey was presented with an award for having the largest exhibit space among national pavilions at IDEX 2007. US and Germany received awards for the second and third largest pavilions. Rheinmettal received an award for the largest stand among international companies at IDEX. Most Creative Stand Design went to JCJ from the United States, with Smith's Detection from the UK and MBDA from France receiving second and third prizes for creativity in stand design.
IGG received an award for the largest UAE company at IDEX with Caracal and UAE Hovercraft also being recognized. Leading national media houses as well as UAE government departments who contributed to the success of the show were also honoured.

An awards ceremony was held today to recognize key participants at IDEX 2007, the Middle East's largest defence show.
