RAK FTZ sponsors "GULFOOD 2007"

RAK FTZ has actively taken part at the Gulfood 2007- the 12th Gulf Food, Hotel and Equipment Exhibition and Salon Culinary that was held between February 19-22 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Oussama El Omari, the zone's CEO and Director General said "RAK FTZ participation at the Gulfood 2007 reflects our commitment to meeting our potential clients and introduce them to the zone's state of the art facilities" Exhibitors, traders, and visitors to the exhibition were introduced to the zone's services and facilities.

"The zone has developed an ideal infrastructure which enables the food stuff companies in particular to set up their business at the zone," said El Omari. "The various types and sizes of the zone's multi purpose warehouses is yet another fundamental advantage to encourage these companies to join us in RAK FTZ" he added.

Since 1987, Gulfood has been considered as the region's primary business platform for food, drink, foodservice and hospitality equipments.

The exhibition is a showcase of manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers from around the world, representing all of the key sectors within food and hospitality. Gulfood 2007 brought together more than 2,200 companies from different countries around the world. "It was a brilliant chance for the zone to promote its services and facilities to such companies from worldwide," said El Omari.

"This participation is the first episode of the zone's chain of marketing campaigns during the ongoing year to be followed by other campaigns in the UAE and outside it" he added.
