The international tennis legend is in Bahrain to visit the Riffa Views Signature Estates project development as part of a partnership agreement to promote the luxury residential and lifestyle community that is centred around a Signature championship golf course by Colin Montgomerie, and which will encompass a range of top class sports and leisure facilities.
The German former tennis Grand Slam Champion is keen to support the healthy lifestyle concepts embodied in the Riffa Views project. On Friday 23rd February Becker accompanied the Riffa Views team to the official signing of its continued support of International tennis in Bahrain.
The agreement was signed at the Bahrain Tennis Club which is again set to host the Riffa Views Cup, a tournament of the 2007 Asian 14/U Series.
Becker's visit is his first official activity as a Riffa Views figurehead which will involve him working closely with the project to develop an international sports profile both for Riffa Views and the Kingdom as a whole.
Becker points the way forward for sports in Bahrain
Boris Becker has been getting to know fans in Bahrain, undertaking an autograph signing session on Saturday 24th February at the Riffa Views Sales Centre, coaching young Bahraini tennis players, and even finding time for a round of golf with enthusiasts at Riffa Golf Club.
