As President of the Dubai Ladies Club, Sheikha Manal's patronage of the show for the third consecutive year underlines the club's support for major events and activities of importance to women.
The Dubai Ladies Club has well established links with social, cultural and educational initiatives designed to enhance the role of UAE women, and Sheikha Manal's patronage of the largest bridal event in the Middle East highlights this commitment.
Muna Al Marri, Chairperson of The Dubai Establishment for Women Development and Vice President of the Dubai Ladies Club said: 'The Bride Show Dubai is one of the UAE's most prestigious and popular exhibitions and provides brides-to-be from all over the Middle East with a huge breadth of choice to help them plan the most important day of their lives.
'The Dubai Ladies Club was extremely keen to continue to be associated with an event of this magnitude and calibre which will have such a significant impact on women.'
Taking place from 10-13 April at Dubai International Exhibition Centre, The Bride Show Dubai 2007 is expected to attract more than 36,000 visitors with its attractions not only for brides-to-be, but all women who enjoy fashion, beauty and home décor.
More than 300 companies and wedding planners from 16 countries will be showcasing a huge range of products and services, from wedding gowns, international haute couture fashion, beauty and hair to venues and honeymoon destinations.
Organised by the Institute for International Research (IIR), the show also features daily competitions with a top prize of a full honeymoon package and other fabulous prizes like a Nissan Altima. A separate section, Ambiente Al Bayt Al Arabie, focuses on home furnishings and decoration reflecting the latest interior design trends in the Arab market.
The Bride Show Dubai and is open daily from 2pm-9.30pm.

H.H. Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, President of Dubai Establishment for Women Development, has been named as official patron of The Bride Show Dubai 2007.
