Emirates Post opens stamp exhibition on cultural personalities at Cultural Palace, Sharjah

His Excellency Abdullah Al Owais, Director of Department of Culture and Information, Sharjah, inaugurated an exhibition of UAE stamps on cultural personalities at Cultural Palace, Sharjah, organized by Emirates Post and Emirates Philatelic Association.
As part of the exhibition, a seminar was organized at the venue, addressed by Mr. Abdulla Khoory, President of Emirates Philatelic Association, who spoke on the hobby of philately. Mr. Khalid Omeira, a well-known Emirati stamp collector and postal historian, traced the development of postal services in the UAE.
Present on the occasion were Mr. Mohammed Diab, consultant to the Ruler of Sharjah on education matters, Mr. Hussain Elamin El Fadil, Deputy Consul General of Sudan, Mr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Head of Heritage and Cultural Affairs, Department of Culture and Information and Mr. Ali Al Matroushi of Ajman Museum.
