Al Foah is a general holding company that was initiated by the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi to promote and conserve date palms in the region.
FAMCO successfully supplied and installed drive-in racking for 11,000 pallet positions to store almost 8-million kilos of dates in the peak season. Over 300 tons of racking material for twenty-five stores in six areas spread over a vast area both in the eastern and western region were used. The entire project was completed within just 40 days, over 8,700 man-hours and with the strength of 25 people working together. The project also included the supply of a fleet of Linde forklifts.
