Injazat has begun 2007 with ambitious expansion plans targeting the Business Process Outsourcing market for HR and Finance. Ibrahim Mohamed Lari, Chief Executive Officer, Injazat Data Systems, said, 'We have achieved much in our first two years of operation. We have studied the industry closely to better understand the dynamics of our prospective clients' needs, and have invested in our people and are building an unparalleled infrastructure, which will continue to enable us to offer high quality services; promoting excellence in the Middle East.'
Injazat has consolidated its position as a reliable ITO and BPO service provider that specializes in maximizing return on client investments by signing long-term deals with Abu Dhabi's new Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, Civil Service Department Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, and recently with the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Agriculture. These are among the 13 leading private and public organizations, comprising more than 10,000 end-users, who rely on Injazat to provide them with consistent, flexible and innovative best practice IT services.
The IT outsourcing category contributed immensely to the UAE's IT services market boom, which expanded 34.1 percent year-on-year to reach a value of US$ 413.73 million in 2005, according to a recent report on IT services released by International Data Corporation. The report adds that IT outsourcing achieved a year-on-year growth of 747 per cent largely because of Injazat Data Systems' landmark IT services outsourcing deal in 2005 with the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority, which was valued at over AED 400 million.
Taking full advantage of the opportunities brought about by the IT sector boom, Injazat Data Systems has risen to become the UAE's top IT outsourcing provider, according to the research group IDC. Injazat's consistent high-quality of work also pushed the company to the top three in the 2006 ITP IT Weekly's Top 100 list for the Middle East IT System Integrator category.
Injazat, which is quickly becoming the premier ITO and BPO services provider in the region, is a joint venture between Mubadala Development Company, a wholly owned investment vehicle of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and global IT and Business Process services giant Electronic Data Systems. The company, driven by a belief in promoting the career development of its employees and giving young local graduates a chance to progress in the industry, has grown into a 450-strong workforce of which 35 percent are UAE nationals.
Established in the 1st Quarter of 2005, Injazat Data Systems is an Information Technology and Business Services company that offers a wide range of outsourcing services. It is focused on providing IT outsourcing services to the oil & gas, utilities, financial services, government, transportation, telecom and healthcare sectors. Injazat aims to become the premier information technology and business process outsourcing services provider in the region. Mubadala Development is a Public Joint Stock company, established and wholly owned by the Government of the Emirate Abu Dhabi. Its mission is to invest in commercially-viable, strategic, industrial and commercial partnerships.
