"Education Without Borders is an event encouraging young leaders from across the globe to meet and work out solutions to humanitarian problems faced by the less fortunate across countries. We commend Higher Colleges of Technology for its initiative to bring together students, professionals and business people and encourage them to use education and technology to help people lead free and dignified lives. Emirates Computers, together with our partners Dell and Intel, is happy to support HCT's initiative and look forward to encouraging young leaders of tomorrow to make a positive change,"said Mr. Khaldoun Shamaa, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Emirates Computers.
Education Without Borders 2007 will bring together leaders of business, education, NGOs, government, and technology from six continents to create networks and innovations which positively impact communities and individuals around the globe for years to come. Organized by students for students, the event promises to engage exceptionally diverse participants in a unique and collaborative forum featuring prominent guest speakers, student presentations, stimulating debates, interactive workshops and Arabian cultural activities.
Emirates Computers is showcasing Dell's product lines ranging from PCs to note books to printers at the conference. Emirates Computers is also bringing in new technology such as Reengineer - one of the world's leading computer design and manufacturing software, and the remarkable 3D printer which creates ABS plastic models directly from a digital design to the market.
