Oki Printing Solutions, the leader in the global colour printer market, is scoring a Middle East first at the Sign and Graphic Imaging Exhibition, which kicks off today at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, by publishing an hourly newsletter at the show.

"Today's big regional shows often have show daily publications, but we wanted to demonstrate how fast, immediate and responsive you can be using today's high quality colour printing technologies," said John Ross, general manager, Oki Printing Solutions Middle East.

"We're publishing eight editions through the day with the most up to date news in the market - guaranteed! This is the kind of thing we mean with the 'look what you can do' theme we're talking about at the show!"

Each hourly newsletter will carry news and images from the show, which focuses on the high end graphics, advertising and outdoor markets. The editorial team working at the show will have written and laid out 32 pages of news by the end of the day, with over 1,000 4-page newsletters due to be distributed in hourly editions.

"We're only doing this for day one," said Ross. "Any more than that and we think we'd just run out of news! We'll have made our point, though: companies can now take their creativity and make it reality, printing everything from business cards to newsletters in-house. The combination of increased control and the money and time saved make a compelling case for in-house colour."

Oki will also be displaying a number of product firsts at the show, including new products such as high-end, high quality specialised colour printing solutions targeted at the professional colour industry. The only dedicated show for the region's specialised Signage, Graphic Imaging and Screen Printing industries, the event will take place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) from 27th February-1st March 2007.

Present in 120 countries worldwide, Oki Printing Solutions provides customised and relevant printing solutions that deliver the best cost effectiveness without compromising quality standards. Oki addresses its solutions to in-house designers, advertising agencies, or copy/print shops that need to repeatedly produce consistent professional color documents.

The "Look What You Can Do" concept addresses users who would like to print in-house without compromising quality, consistency and simplicity.
