The first issue of 'City of Gold' was published in October and was distributed to members and government departments.
The newsletter will update readers on group activities, including promotions, training courses and member news. Additionally, it will inform them of developments that can affect the gold and jewellery trade.
'As the Group continued to grow, we felt we needed a forum of discussion,' says Tawhid Abdullah, Chairman of the Gold and Jewellery Group. 'The newsletter will facilitate communication between the committee and members, and help us operate more efficiently.'
The next issue of 'City of Gold' will be published in January 2003.
