$1.9bn Shuqaiq IWPP deal signed

A consortium of ACWA Power Projects, Gulf Investment Corporation and Mitsubishi Corporation has signed agreements with Saudi's Water and Electricity for the development of the Shuqaiq independent water and power project. The project is expected to cost around $1.9bn and was offered on a build, own, operate basis. The Shuqaiq complex will have a capacity of 850 MW of power and 212,000 cubic metres per day of water.
