d1g acquires seenandjeem.com to create the largest Arabic questions and answers portal on the net

This venture follows a series of strategic acquisitions made by d1g over the past quarter to boost its position as the leading Web 2.0 portal for the Arab world.

d1g has introduced its Arabic online Questions and Answers service, dubbed as QnA, in November 2006 to leverage the current shortage in Arabic online content and the gap in reliable Arabic search technology. The QnA service enables Arabic online users to exchange information, experiences, opinions, cultures, science, art and more in their native language.

QnA is one of d1g's most popular services, as more than 15,000 questions and 50,000 answers have been published since the segment was launched in November 2006. With more than 40,000 registered users and 9 million page views in the first two months of 2007, d1g is the fastest growing Arabic portal in the region.
