Mena Telecom to open more retail outlets in 2007

Mena Telecom announced their comprehensive customer care retail opening plan for 2007.

Mena Telecom will be opening outlets in the Bahrain Financial Harbour, the World Trade Centre, Seef Mall, Sitra (KFH car showroom) and Country Mall (Budaiya Highway).

"Mena Telecom is committed to the development of the telecom industry in Bahrain and to its clients, therefore this commitment to open these branches," said Mr Abdul Razak Jawahery Executive Manager at Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH), representing KFH as Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Mena Telecom.

Mr Jawahery also said, "Adding more retails in addition to our GOSI Complex outlet will provide greater convenience to our customers and allow us to continue to provide world-class telecommunication services to the business community and consumers. Our plan for 2007 is to open more retails around the Kingdom to ensure Mena Telecom is accessible to our wide range of customers and provide them with a positive and superior customer experience."

All of Mena Telecom's customer care retail outlets will serve as a one-stop shop for all telecommunication services that are offered, which include: Fixed Wireless Access Network (WiMax) which will be commercial by the middle of the year, Carrier Pre-select (CPS) where customers benefit from slashing their phone bills by 30% on international fixed line calls; Mena Talk the international pay-as-you-go prepaid calling cards where users benefit from 80% reductions on international rates and also, two way satellite broadband services.

With a minimum of six retails opening this year, Mena Telecom will continue to provide convenient, reliable and efficient service to customers in Bahrain.
