The project has been launched in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and United Arab Emirates (UAE) with plans for a complete roll out across the GCC over the next six months.
Alya Azar, Supplies Business Manager, Imaging and Printing Group (IPG), HP Middle East: "With the tremendous growth of SMB's across the region, there is an increasing adoption of technology and an ever-growing demand for easy availability of printers and printer supplies. 'Dial A Catridge' is another step by HP Middle East towards providing our customers with the best after-sales service and making the sourcing process for HP products simple convenient."
HP believes that increasing competition in the market means companies are having to rely more and more on vendors to manage their IT systems without them worrying much about it and this project aims to do exactly that - provide customers with their supplies needs so they can get the best out of their printers.
HP 'Dial A Cartridge' is a new sales channel for HP's IPG Supplies Business where SMB/SOHO and home customers can call the HP Toll free number in UAE and KSA and order original HP Supplies (Inkjet & Laserjet Cartridges, Printing Media) at their door step within maximum 48 hours and minimum 24 hours. The delivery of the Catridges will be made by one of HP's partners - and payment will be made on delivery. Cupola Teleservices is handling the call center activities for the project.
"We have already completed our product training and provided sales tools to our call centre staff. A database system in place to collect and report customer calls and queries in order which will help us improve customer experience and enhance our overall delivery,"
added Alya Azar. "Our partner for the project will ensure optimum stock levels are maintained and delivery orders are met within the 48hours time frame to provide the customer with maximum value and service."
Over the next few months HP Middle East will be rolling out a full fledged marketing campaign in newspapers, magazines, radios, and SMSs across UAE and KSA to support the project.
