Catch the taste of modern Swissness

From April 1st to 7th things will once again be all Swiss at the Moevenpick Hotel Bur Dubai.
However, 2007 is themed around 'modern Swissness' and is showcasing a complete different approach to Swiss Music and Cuisine.

Thomas Reist and his Jazzband 'Das Hausquartett' will delight the guests with soothing, modern Jazz and two Master Guest Chefs from Geneva will support the local team of Chefs, to prepare authentic Swiss Food.

Christophe Sifferlin, Executive Sous Chef and Alexandre Stoessel, Chef de Partie, are both professionals of their kind, with a long record of working in the best hotels and cuisines of Geneva.

Approaching the French side of Switzerland and its highlights, Christophe and Alexandre will not forget to still cater to the favourites of our customers by providing Swiss Raclette and Fondue. But there is more to Swiss Cuisine and to explore an array of French influenced delights will be available for lunch and dinner.

The showcasing of French Swiss Cuisine at the Moevenpick Hotel Bur Dubai is Christophe's and Alexandre's first trip to Dubai and they are excited to present a high quality product and a multicultural rich cuisine to the international guests of the hotel. Christophe considers the Swiss Cuisine as a very special one.

He says: 'The fact, that it has so many influences - the German, the Italian and the French and that we are so focused on high quality, gives us a mixture with is a unique result.

We are happy to come to Dubai and to support Armin Brandtner and his team with a truly Swiss experience. It will be a unique trip and a great festival.'

With a more 'country-house' like approach to new Swiss uniforms, the hostesses and service team of the Fountain Restaurant will delight this year in distinct colours of beige, white and black, elegant and figure toned long skirts and a neckline in 'Carmen' style. This is only one step of many, for a more up-to-date uniform style and being an institution of the hotel, will be also special for the team.

The Festival will take place at the Fountain Restaurant of the Moevenpick Hotel Bur Dubai from April 1st to 7th.
