JBC, $200m plasma plant

The Jeddah Bio-technical Company is to build a new factory for the production of blood derivatives at the industrial zone in Medina. The new facility, registered under the name of the Blood Derivatives International Company, will be built at a cost of $200m by a local contractor, in cooperation with two international companies, and should be ready within three years, with the plant producing plasma in 2010.
