"MINI is one of the great success stories of the BMW Group Worldwide. Since the relaunch of the MINI brand in 2001 sales in the Middle East have consistently exceeded all expectations, and we expect no less from the new MINI,"
said Guenther Seemann, Managing Director, BMW Group Middle East.
The MINI brand has loyal fans worldwide and they have all been aching to get their hands on the new MINI, which is warming up to continue the success story of its predecessor.
Available in a range of two models, the MINI Cooper and the MINI Cooper S, the new MINI has been enhanced and refined in design and comes with an evolutionary look, as well as boasting all-new drivetrain technology for even greater agility.
The new MINI Cooper is powered by a 1.6 litre normal-aspiration engine, developing maximum output of 88 kW/120 hp and the new MINI Cooper S comes with an even more powerful and dynamic 128 kW/175 hp turbocharged engine.
Defining the spirit and aesthetic sensibilities of the new millennium, the new MINI is set to turbo-charge itself into the hearts and minds of aficionados in the region. Representing a lifestyle and individual expression, the success of MINI has relied on its unique ability to bring people from across the world together by melting through barriers of language, culture, latitude and origin.
The MINI has become a truly classless, global lifestyle car which puts smiles on faces wherever it travels.
