CABSAT is to open in Dubai on March 6, 2007.
CABSAT2007, the premier event for the electronic media and satellite communications industry, and Vision-X, the region's leading optical and ophthalmic exhibition will collectively welcome more than 650 exhibitors from across the world.

Both events have demonstrated major year-on-year growth, with CABSAT growing by 27 percent in 2007, and Vision-X Dubai expanding by more than 30 percent.

"The success of these two very different trade exhibitions underlines Dubai's ability to deliver a world-class experience for visitors and exhibitors in every major industry. We are anticipating record visitor attendance at both events, with significant international participation," said Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General, Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organiser of CABSAT and Vision-X Dubai.

The 13th edition of CABSAT2007 will host more than 500 participating companies from more than 50 countries, with over 100 new companies including Al Watan, Arqiva, EgyptSat, Measat, NDS, Perla Group International, Radio Computing Services and Yamaha.

The 8th Vision-X Dubai 2007 will bring together more than 150 optical and ophthalmic exhibitors from Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East in the largest and most international edition in its history. DWTC continues to invest in the enhancement and enrichment of its current exhibition portfolio, and particularly to ensure that major trade shows continue to meet and exceed the expectations of the industry.

By continuing to bring new international exhibitors and visitors to the Dubai - and supporting major conferences to stimulate further professional development within specific industries - both CABSAT and Vision-X Dubai are making a significant contribution to this process.

CABSAT2007 and Vision-X Dubai will take place from the 6-8 March 2007 in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). CABSAT will be open from 11am - 7pm daily in Halls 1, 2, 3 and 4, while Vision-X Dubai will be open from 10am - 6pm daily in Halls 5 and 6.
