Each year the symposium has a different title that is related to the development in UAE as well as in the Gulf region.

Due to the unprecedented and massive architectural and urban developments taking place during the last few years, we decided that our upcoming symposium should address themes related to this issue.

The purpose of this symposium is to identify and discuss through the presented papers, the nature and the future of these booming developments in the UAE, and in the whole Gulf region in general.

Because Dubai is at the center of this rapid change and construction development, the symposium of this year will be held in Dubai.

The keynote speakers for this year are internationally renowned experts and specialists in Architecture and Urban Design and Planning from different countries: UK, Germany, Italy, USA, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

In conjunction with the symposium, an exhibition will be held for related businesses organizations such as building construction and development companies, real estate and architectural/engineering consultant firms. A special part of this exhibition will be devoted for contemporary German architecture.
This event will hold on Dubai Fairmont Hotel, Barajeel Ballroom (Sheikh Zayed Road), Dubai, 19 March, 2007.
