"Interiors & Buildex 2007 will display everything required for the major construction activities now ongoing in many parts of the country as well as the simple home renovation projects,"
said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading exhibition management company in the sultanate.
Among those that have confirmed their participation in this year's event are Khimji's Bait Al Ahlam, V-Kool Oman, Muscat Electronics, Dosteen Trading, Kabnoury, Al Roofof Trading, Bashair Al Noor United LLC, and Kehlan Trading. In addition, an impressive number of international exhibitors have likewise already signed up for the event. A strong representation from many other countries including Pakistan, Lebanon and Egypt is also expected when the international exhibition opens its doors to visitors in May.
According to Paul, the participation of many companies will ensure that visitors will be able to inspect a wide variety of products such as air-conditioning systems, bathroom fittings, carpets and curtains, cement products, ceramics and tiles, home furnishings, marble and other stone materials, paint products, security systems as well as wall panels and partitions.
"The demand for these products is growing rapidly with the construction of many new villas, hotels, industrial plants, commercial buildings and tourism infrastructure all over the sultanate," said Abdullah Beg, project manager of Interiors & Buildex 2007. "The exhibition is the ideal venue for companies to showcase what they offer to the local building and construction industry."
