Emirates Islamic Bank aims at higher Emiratization rates

In accordance with Emirates Islamic Bank's strategy to achieve higher Emiratization rates, the bank is taking part in the 'National Career exhibition Sharjah 2007', dedicated to the banking and financial sector.

Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohamed Al Qassimi, member of the Supreme council and Ruler of Sharjah, the event is organized by the human resources development committee in the banking and financial sector, and Emirates institute for banking & finance studies, and it is taking place at the Sharjah Expo from March 5th to 7th 2007.

Mr. Faisal Aqil, GM Retail Banking at Emirates Islamic Bank commented on the event saying: "Our participation in this event is to yet again reinforce our commitment towards the development of the upcoming UAE nationals. As the bank is rapidly expanding, we intensified our presence in career fairs such as National Career exhibition of Sharjah and Career Fair Dubai 2007, in an attempt to attract a number of high caliber nationals seeking a career in the Islamic banking."

He further added:

"The event is dedicated to the financial and banking sector and thus serves as a perfect platform for Emirates Islamic Bank to recruit the best candidates to support its ambitious growth plans. It is pertinent to say that Emirates Islamic Bank is ranked among the highest in Emiratization rates compared to other local financial institutions with almost 36% of its workforce consisting of nationals."


The Fair will be opened from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm. It will also dedicate a half day for the ladies, on March 6th from 9.00 to 1.00 pm.
