Dubai's 18th year participation in Berlin fair

Dubai is making its strongest-ever presence at the world's largest travel trade fair with the participation of 97 government and private sector organizations under the umbrella of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).

Visitors to the Dubai Stand at the 2007 edition of International Tourism Exchange (ITB), which opens in Berlin on March 7, will have the opportunity to watch the handicrafts and Arabic calligraphy in addition to a chocolate statue of Burj Al Arab and Costa cruise ship mode.

There will be raffle draw for Dubai holidays with the support of nine hotels and tour operators each and three airlines.

This is Dubai's participation at the five-day show for the 18th successive year. Dubai Stand (Number 102, Hall 22a) at the 41st edition of ITB measures 506 square metre and have 53 booths.

Among the organizations participating in the Dubai Stand include Department of Civil Aviation/Dubai Duty Free, Jumeirah, Nakheel, Dubai Shopping Festival/Dubai Summer Surprises, Ski Dubai and Mall of the Emirates.

ITB-2007 is taking place in 26 halls of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. A total of 10,923 companies from 184 countries and territories will be presenting their tourism attractions on a display area measuring some 160,000 square metres.
