Hertz collects top Business Traveller Award - again

The award was presented by Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, the Princess Royal to Charles Shafer, the President of Hertz Europe Ltd.

The Business Traveller annual Reader Poll is the only independent travel survey conducted by a UK-based publication that complies with the rules laid out by the Market Research Society.

"To be recognised as the best car rental company worldwide for the ninth consecutive year is a great honour, and we put this down to our constant fleet enhancements, service upgrades, loyalty scheme and unrivalled customer service," said John Andrews, Director of Associations and Government Sales, Hertz Europe and Middle East.

Hertz car rental services are continuing to expand across the Middle East, where the company is represented by franchise operations in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the UAE and Yemen, and by general sales agents in Saudi and Bahrain.

Since implementing measures at the start of last year to capitalise on the Middle East's growth as a business centre, travel destination, and a source market for the US and Europe, Hertz has expanded its regional network of car rental branches in the region from 35 to 67.
