First meeting of Hotel and Hotel Apartment Group in Dubai

The DTCM Director General, Mr. Khalid A bin Sulayem, chaired the meeting.

It was attended among others by Mr. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director of Dubai Convention Bureau, Mr.Khalid bin Touq, DTCM Manager Licensing and Classification, Mr. Eyad Ali Abdul Rahman, DTCM Manager Media Relations, and Ms. Afra Al Fahim, DTCM Manager Business Development.

Also attending the meeting was Mr. Omar Al Shamsi, Head of PR and Protocol at the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD), and Mr. Omar Mattar bin Muzina, another DNRD official.

The meeting discussed a wide range of issues concerning the hotel industry in the emirate, including introduction of new facilities and expansion plans. Also on the agenda were the department's marketing and promotional activities.

Mr. Awadh Al Ketbi gave a presentation on promoting Dubai tourism in the AGCC states for the coming summer season.

The DTCM will organise a presentation for the hotel industry players on the Unified Ambulance Centre to highlight its services and facilities.

It was decided that there should be more than one First Aid Box at each hotel establishment.
