- PRESS RELEASE
Leo Burnett Middle East and North Africa (MENA) recently earned international recognition as a 2006 'Bright Star' from Leo Burnett Worldwide for delivering exemplary creative and business results.
The award, presented in a ceremony in Chicago attended by representatives of Leo Burnett's offices around the world, is considered a significant mark of distinction and accomplishment by the global agency.
Tom Bernardin, CEO of Leo Burnett Worldwide, said it was no surprise that the MENA network was selected as a Bright Star. "I have always admired what the operation is capable of delivering - from their higher standards of creativity to their passionate commitment to serving their clients' business objectives. They are an example for our other agencies to follow."
Farid Chehab, Chief Creative Officer for Leo Burnett Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, said, "We are a company of big ideas and passionate people. This award is the result of our dedication to being steadfast brand builders for our clients and partners. It is a reflection of what we have done and what we will do."
Raja Trad, CEO of Leo Burnett MENA, said, "Our restless and relentless commitment to excellence has enabled us, first to win a Rising Star, and now a Bright Star. However, we are not satisfied and will keep challenging ourselves to win Agency of the Year.'
Trad added, "Let me dedicate this win to our clients for believing in us. Their business success in the marketplace is our success as well."
The global Leo Burnett network is divided into three regions for the Bright Star competition: Asia Pacific, Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA), and the Americas. One Bright Star award is given annually to the top office in each region as determined by Leo Burnett's business and creative scales. Points are given for performance during internal Leo Burnett Worldwide creative competitions, external awards shows, attaining business goals, revenue growth and new business wins.
