It's destination Dubai with a rich dose of DSS

As part of Destination Dubai marketing the emirate's homegrown event of Dubai Summer Surprises to a global audience, the DSS team is participating in the International Tourism Exchange (ITB-2007) in Berlin, Germany from March 7 to 11.
The DSS team, headed by its CEO Saeed Al Nabouda, is promoting the upcoming edition of the biggest summer event ever offering great Summer Deals on shopping and holiday recreation. The DSS this year celebrates its 10th year and is expected to be bigger and better with extraordinary shopping incentives and prizes galore at the various participating shopping malls and unique children's recreation in the form of themed surprises weeks at the malls and the Modhesh Fun City marking the special occasion.
ITB is being seen as an ideal platform to promote the summer fiesta abroad especially in the European market. The DSF which recently completed a successful 45-days long special festival will be back next year with renewed energy and is poised to have even greater number of visitors as has been the trend in the past several editions of the grand shopping festival.
This year, the ITB sees Dubai's strongest-ever presence with the participation of 97 Government and private sector organisations in the world's largest travel trade fair for the 18th successive year. The Dubai Stand (No 102, Hall 22a) at the International Congress Centre (ICC Berlin) measure 506 square metres and has 53 booths.
ITB-2007 in its 41st edition now is taking place in 26 halls of the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. A total of 10,923 companies from 184 countries and territories are presenting their tourism attractions on a display area measuring some 160,000 square metres.
With participation of high-ranking professionals ITB exhibitors represent the entire service spectrum of the global tourism industry. Among the other participants from Dubai are Department of Civil Aviation/Dubai Duty Free, Jumeirah, Nakheel, Dubai Shopping Festival/Dubai Summer Surprises, Ski Dubai and Mall of the Emirates.
