RTA and Alyaza Group signs MoU to promote traffic safety

Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has Signed a memorandum of understanding and joint cooperation agreement with Alyaza Group

The MOU in the field of traffic safety which opens the floor to Alyaza group to put its scientific, technical and educational capabilities in the service of the RTA to promote the message of traffic awareness in the Emirate of Dubai.

The renewable three-year term agreement was signed by Eng. Maitha Mohammad Bin Adai CEO of Traffic and Roads Agency on behalf of the RTA, and Dr. Zeyd Akel Chairman of Alyaza Group, in the presence of a number of officials and managers of both sides.

Eng Maitha Mohammad Bin Adai, said that the signing of the agreement reflects the values of the RTA to find strategic partners from all sectors including the civilian society establishments to promote awareness and traffic safety message in Dubai, in addition to benefit from the expertise of those working in the field to disseminate and promote awareness message in all social cross - sections.

She noted out that Alyaza group which will contribute its expertise and capabilities in the field of traffic safety awareness in effective scientific shape will strengthen the RTA efforts to elevate the level of traffic safety in the Emirate through providing a package of training and scientific materials in the field of traffic safety, the methods of safe driving and the prevention of road accidents, all based on scientific values combined with the traffic and road safety rules and regulations.

She added: according to the MoU, Alyaza as traffic safety specialist exert highly effort to provide awareness books supported by international research and statistics, in addition to publications films.
According to the MoU RTA is entitled also to distribute the scientific articles brochures, while the Alyaza group will conduct training workshops and lectures on traffic safety in cooperation with the RTA in the schools and universities and other youth Centers.
