MobileCom hands out campaign funds to charity

MobileCom's CEO Mrs. Majd Shweikeh handed over a cheque worth JD10,000 to the President of Al Tafila Sons Charitable Society Mr. Abdullah Hanaqtah as a result of the charity campaign MobileCom, a member of the Jordan Telecom Group, launched on the occasion of His Majesty King Abdullah II's birthday to help needy people.
Shweikeh added that the donated amount came out of deducting part of the SMS revenue that were circulated on the day of the King's birthday. "We really would like to thank our customers as through them we were able to gather this amount," the CEO concluded.
The Taffila Sons Charitable Society has branches in both Zarqa and Aqaba Governorates that aim at helping physically challenged people by providing social, health, rehabilitative, and educational services to orphans, and needy people in addition to setting productive projects that generate stable income for the society to help it achieve its objectives. The Society supervises two centers responsible for educating, training and helping physically challenged people. The centers are: Amal Center for Special Education and Taffila's Vocational Center for Handicapped.
