Careers UAE: Window of opportunities for nationals
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, March 08 - 2007 at 13:29
- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) will participate side by side with Dubai Duty Free in the 7th annual Careers UAE Exhibition, which will be organised at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 13 to 15, 2007.
The DCA partners will offer UAE national job seekers the profile of the department, information on the nature, scope and magnitude of its operations, recruitment and HR policies, training and career opportunities, and future prospects. Towards this end, the department will have a bigger presence in the exhibition with a massive 200-square metre stand, which will be manned by employees from its various directorates. Like every year, the department expects overwhelming response from jobseekers. National jobseekers are attracted by the DCA's international reputation and Dubai International Airport's consistent growth, which will be further boosted by the opening of the massive extension later this year.
"The level of our participation is directly proportional to the overwhelming response we have always received from jobseekers in earlier Career exhibitions. It is also a reflection of our beliefs and efforts towards Emiratisation," said Thani Bin Jarsh, Director of Human Resources and Development Directorate at DCA. He noted that the event provides a platform to the DCA to reach out to prospective UAE national employees by apprising them of the career opportunities in the dynamic world of aviation, which in the UAE is developing rapidly.
Designed to expose national job seekers to various training and career opportunities, Careers UAE 2007 will offer exciting networking possibilities, career leads, information about numerous companies, a chance to meet employers and apply for job positions and internships. The number of employers and organisations participating in the event has continued to grow every year, with as many as 15,000 visitors expected this year. There is a strong interest in the exceptional quality of UAE national jobseekers.
