Philips and renowned nutritionist Nathalie Haddad show advanced technology making lives simpler and healthier
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, March 08 - 2007 at 14:50
- PRESS RELEASE
Philips Domestic Appliances (DAP) today conducted a workshop at Baby Land Nursery in Dubai to teach parents how advanced domestic technology can make the preparation of healthy meals for their children simpler and quicker.
The workshop allowed parents to learn to make the recipes on Philips Alu Blender HR2094 Model, and Philips Hand Blender HR1364 Model. "Today's modern lifestyles make it difficult to find the time to make for children healthy and tasty meals on the go," said Nutritionist Nathalie Haddad.
"These Philips blenders give parents the opportunity to make for their children smoothies and purees of all types and flavors, which are a great way to introduce into a child's diet something that is both healthy, delicious and quick to make."
The workshop by Philips DAP is part of an ongoing health initiative aimed at reaching out to every consumer on a global scale. "Philips is always striving to bring some of the most advanced technology to as many consumers as possible," said Mr. Jaap Merkus, General Manager of Philips Domestic Appliances.
"And it's because of this that we make all of our products as easy to use as possible, and based around a customer's needs. The workshop here not only is bringing simplicity into people's lives through advanced technology, it's also giving children access to healthier diets and nutrition."
The program held at Baby Land Nursery was enthusiastically received by everyone involved. "Healthy children are happy children, and a nutritious diet is key to maintaining children's health," said Hala Faour, Directress of Baby Land Nursery.
"This workshop has given us the help we need to give our children here a healthy and safe environment to learn and grow in. Parents have trusted us with the care of their children, and we have had added value to their efforts today."
