Etisalat intends to introduce new job opportunities for fresh UAE national graduates.

Etisalat is once again participating in this exhibition to demonstrate its commitment towards Emiratisation, which has played a big role in the development of Etisalat.

Abdulaziz Al Sawaleh, Chief Human Resources Officer, Etisalat, said: "Etisalat acknowledges the importance of participating in developing the national employees in telecommunications. Etisalat has created employment opportunities for UAE nationals through a series of training courses for graduates, diploma holders and for high school graduates. The UAE Careers exhibition provides an ideal opportunity for us to meet UAE nationals seeking a career and enabling us to learn more about their experiences and abilities".

Al Sawaleh also added: "Etisalat has been able to achieve an Emiratisation percentage that is considered one of the highest in the country. Today, UAE nationals hold more than 44% of the total number of positions within Etisalat representing more than 4000 employees, and nationals constitute over 72% at the senior management level."

Etisalat also provides three different training courses with different specialisations. The first course is to attract fresh bachelor's degree holders and provide them with 15 months of training within the company. This course will equip them with more specialized training, and they will be employed based on whether their specialization is managerial or technical.

The second course focuses on diploma graduates who are trained for one year in different departments of the company, and this course is also held over a shorter time for professionals that have newly joined Etisalat from other companies.

The third course is established for high school graduates or Higher Colleges of Technology graduates, who are trained on the technical aspects of working in the different sectors of the company. UAE nationals also represent a big percentage of staff in the technical departments within Etisalat.

With the huge footprint that Etisalat has achieved in the country, it attracts the best from among UAE workforce. Etisalat has invested in educational initiatives such as Etisalat Academy and Etisalat University College, which provide training courses at international standards. Etisalat has contributed towards gearing up a generation of telecom specialists, who work today to support expansion and investment plans of the Corporation in fourteen countries across Africa and Asia.
