Optimizing performances: Kuwait Airways receives EASA

Kuwait Airways Corporation represented by the Training & Development Department, has attained the European Aviation Safety Agency certification.

' EASA 147 ' which pertains to the training and qualifying the Corporation's engineers operating in the field of maintaining the aircraft fleet.

The Director of Training & Development at the Corporation Dr. Lafi Al-Dhafiri said that obtaining this certificate by the Corporation has confirmed its dedication and commitment in providing high standards of quality and safety in training, which comes in line with the strategic objectives of Kuwait Airways and is also in line with international standards of the Aviation industry, particularly in the field of technical engineering training. This in addition to the Corporation's attainment of recognition and approvals from various bodies certified internationally in technical and scientific aspects in the domains of training and development, which also supports the standard of operational safety in maintaining the Corporation's aircraft.

Dr. Lafi Al-Dhafiri added that the Corporation has complied in its objectives in the sphere of training with the highest international standards by providing best to its customers. He also pointed out that the Corporation had attained IOSA certificate relating to operational safety granted by IATA, in addition to the FAR certificate and also the JAR certificate.

He said that the Corporation's achievement of this certificate places it in the leading frontline positions in the Middle East region, because the certificate represented the most important international certificate granted to companies operating in the aviation industry, and it also reflects the recognition of the European Aviation Safety Organization on the Corporation's capabilities as well as its efforts that are invested in the field of technical training as well as in its services that are approved by the international competent bodies. He also pointed out that the certificate has come as a result of the faithful and diligent work exerted by the staff of the Corporation in all the sectors to promote the level of training to international standards, with the aim to achieve the highest rank of performance and safety.
