"We are glad to participate in promoting Jordan's ancient jewel; the red-rose city of Petra as we always strive to be part of the national initiatives and this represents our support to the local happenings." said Mrs. Rania Abu-Khader Salfiti, Communications Manager of Umniah.
Umniah's "Vote for Petra" campaign started last December to urge subscribers to vote for Petra as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World for the beauty, magic and mystery it holds within its rose-red city cut in rocks. Likewise, Umniah has been following up on this subject with Jordan Tourism Board to contribute to the success of this campaign and to promote this national treasure.
Voting for Petra is still available to all Umniah subscribers, where they can simply send a short text message with the word "Petra" to Umniah's short number 92381. In this regard Mrs. Salfiti called on Umniah's subscribers to participate in promoting Petra as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World to contribute to the success of Petra and to raise the global awareness towards our national treasures.
