Bahrain TRA, draft plan

Bahrain's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has issued for public consultation its draft three year work plan for 2007-2009. The plan has been prepared after incorporating feedback from the government, licensees, potential licensees, consumer groups and the telecommunications sector. Among the projects listed in the draft plan are the review of licensing, spectrum management and type approval frameworks with a view to eliminating unnecessary red tape.
