DSO and DLD agree on simplifying procedures for owning and registering 'Oasis' property

The Dubai Land Department has announced its arrangement to simplify and expedite procedures for owning and registering property in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) for local and foreign investors.
Commenting on this initiative, Dr. Al Zarouni said, "Dubai Silicon Oasis appreciates the tremendous effort by Dubai Land Department to simplify and expedite ownership and registration procedures for property in the different developments in Dubai in general and in Dubai Silicon Oasis specifically.
"The cooperation and coordination between Dubai Silicon Oasis and Dubai Land Department is an important element in attracting the flow of capital and foreign investment of the leading organizations in the field of technology," Dr. Al Zarouni added.
Dr. Al Zarouni confirmed DSO's preparedness and willingness to develop the joint working mechanisms with Dubai Land Department with the goal of removing any obstacles impeding ownership and registration as well as disrupting the flow of investment in the real estate sector of Dubai.
Dr. Al Zarouni has instructed the Department of Engineering and Maintenance responsible for DSO to cooperate to the fullest extent with the Dubai Land Department in an effort to reach the ideal mechanisms and procedures for registering property and transferring ownership.
Sultan Buti Bin Majren, Head of Dubai Land Department, said: "The department appreciates the establishments and corporations' efforts in attracting external investments, especially projects that highly contribute in developing and enhancing the economic infrastructure of the UAE in general and Dubai in particular".
It is expected that Dubai Silicon Oasis will play a vital role in this field based on its strategy in creating working opportunities for local calibers and attracting foreign investors and international companies.
Bin Majren added that DLD realizes the importance of facilitating the registration process of lands and its impact on investments. The department ensures the implementation of guidelines to guarantee the right of both parties.
He emphasized on DLD works on finding quick and efficient solutions to solve any obstacles or problems that may face investors and companies, stressing on the importance of carrying out the new properties law.
The Department of Land follow-up closely all the real estate activities at Dubai Silicon Oasis as it became on of the unique active projects in the technology sector in the region.
