Bank Melli Iran is to set up a branch in Iraq in co-operation with an Iraqi development bank, reported the Iran Daily. The office should be operational within the next few days and Hassan Tiz-Maghz, the Head of the Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce, said an Iranian insurance company was also likely to be set up in the war-torn country in the near future.
