Young Arab Leaders to launch inaugural 'Arab Asian Dialogue Forum'

Over 100 Arab and Asian leaders representing more than 20 countries from the business, media, government and the NGO community, are expected to attend the Arab Asian Dialogue Forum in Singapore from 27-28 April, organized by The Young Arab Leaders (YAL).
According to Dr. Omar Bin Sulaiman, Governor of Dubai International Financial Centre, the chairman of the forum's organizing committee Arab Asian Dialogue Forum will formulate and enhance the relationship and strategic partnership between Asia and the Arab world through the exchange of knowledge and trade expertise.
"The Arab Asian Forum is the first of its kind aimed at opening up new communication channels between the two regions. It also complements YAL's strategy to bridge the communication gap between the Arab region and the rest of world, complementing the Arab American Action Forum held in September 2006. The initiative will move to Europe in the next phase."
The forum will be held in the Ritz Carlton hotel in Singapore, with the participation of H.M. King Abdullah II, H.E. Goh Chok Tong, and Lee Kuan Yew, Minister Mentor of the Republic of Singapore. It will be held in coordination with the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD), Lee Kuan Yew Political College, Al Khaleej research centre and Dubai School of Government.
