Emirates Islamic Bank takes part in UAE Career Fair 2007

In line with its commitment to achieve higher Emiratization rates, Emirates Islamic Bank is participating for the second year in the Career Fair 2007, which is taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
Mr. Faisal Aqil, GM Retail Banking at Emirates Islamic Bank commented on the participation saying: "This is part of Emirates Islamic Bank's ongoing commitment to the Emiratization drive in the UAE. Last year's participation in the fair echoed very positively. After the event, we received more than 200 job applications, and we actually hired more than 30 qualified UAE nationals. Our bank is making every possible effort to attract Nationals and encourage them to develop a career in the Islamic banking."
He further added: "Emirates Islamic Bank is ranked among the highest achievers in Emiratization with almost 36% of its workforce consisting of Nationals."
This event is considered a great platform that brings together key industry decision-makers from different sectors, with budding national talents who are seeking promising career opportunities.
As one of the most anticipated events of the year, Careers UAE 2007 will feature leading companies from key commercial sectors in Financial Services, Hospitality & Tourism, Oil & Gas, Training, Education and other Government and private enterprises.
